Herbal Roots of Drapery

Does clothes have healing properties? Is it a means to feel energized nor does it clear our doshas? The answer for all these is “yes”. Having spotted out an article on wellness through varied invasions, I hereby review you what toasts in.. Clothes make us feel good about ourselves and also reflects our personality. For people who are cautious of fashion and their well being, I hope this is a good choice to peep into fashion’s balancing creations. As fashion brands promise to stay ground towards the brand promise and customers zone of comfort, it reverts back to the nostalgic practices of ayurvedic healing  and comes out with clothing that are deeply dipped in the herbal extracts of ayurveda. The term ayurveda parts itself as ayur and veda. Ayur- pertaining to life and veda- science or wisdom. Vastra – means fabric or garment. Here I feel the discipline takes a time lapse to the years behind, stating the efforts of weavers who crafted fabrics with herbs like karunhotti and neelayamari along with spices such as turmeric and cloves. However fashion brands have started marketing the ayurvedic apparel tagged with an assurance of non – toxic irritants and that it is herb dyed.  For all the well being that we are looking for, in today’s lifestyle, clothes do aid us more as bio measuring wearables to track the stress levels  and also the ones that are draped out of crop waste.

The dying process in clothes are achieved in a controlled temperature and the garments are further energized with vedic chants. The medicinal effect has a cap of 20 washes and thus it is re-dyed in the solutions of herbal extracts. In a hardship phase of COVID19 today, why can’t it be a good choice to protect us ? Why can’t we give a try?

Its been good feel to hear the facts about clothing and lifestyle that influences our betterment. I hope it would have been factful and energizing for you too to explore these stimulative garments. Folks, I alert you  its your turn now to dwell into these venture and stay tuned with a healthy living.
