Exuding an unique blend of both tradition and modernity, Senegal spreads an infectious fashion energy! Pops of bold colours and patterns define their identity. What stole my vision were the varied styles of head turbans called bonet and foular that are adorably draped well over the woman’s head. Women also braid their hair in a peculiar way that’s simply awesome! Amazed to know about these? There are still more to explore 😃 come on!
Senegal has an another dimension of its exquisite embroidery. Kaftans are generic and play an integral role in the Senegalese attire. Boubou, a long tunic is also one among their traditional outfits.
